The Story Behind Our Signature Scarves

We all have pieces in our closet that grow to become our favourites — the ones we reach for time and time again. The pieces that have been gently worn in, smoothly moulded around our bodies and daily routines over time. 

Our signature scarves were inspired by our founder’s own favourite scarf. For over a decade, it went everywhere with her — wrapped around chilly shoulders, used as an extra layer on cold planes, packed for trips across seasons and continents. Ten years on, battle-scarred, missing a tassel, but still carrying on, it's a piece that holds so many memories and tells the tale of a life well-lived. 

Knowing the scarf was wearing thin, she searched for a replacement or an opportunity to buy more colours, but to no avail. There was nothing that quite matched the softness, the texture, or the feeling.

So she decided to take matters into her own hands.

She found a designer to help bring the vision to life and together they began sketching, sampling, and refining. Next, she searched through dozens of manufacturers until she found a mill in Portugal that was able to bring the design to life. 

And now, we’re thrilled to share it with you — a scarf made to last, to love, and to become your next forever favourite.
