Q: What are BomPomPom scarves made of?
Our scarves are woven from 100% natural cotton and crafted in Portugal. Each piece is soft, breathable, and designed to feel like a hug around your skin — cozy yet light enough for every season.
Q: Where are your products made?
All BomPomPom pieces are made in Portugal, by mills known for their quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Q: Are your scarves pre-washed or will they shrink?
Yes, our scarves are pre-washed to ensure softness and reduce shrinkage. Because we use natural cotton fibers, a small amount of shrinkage (3–5%) can still occur over time — that’s just part of cotton’s charm. As you wear in your scarf, it will become softer over time.
Care & Maintenance
Q: How should I wash my BomPomPom scarf?
We recommend using a gentle machine wash in cold water, using a mesh laundry bag to prevent the delicate weave from catching on zippers or hooks of other garments. You can of course hand wash the scarves as well. Lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid bleach and tumble drying to preserve softness and color. A quick iron will help smooth out the crinkles that will appear after a wash.
Q: Do the scarves wrinkle easily?
Like any natural cotton fabric, a few soft wrinkles are normal — and part of their relaxed character. If you prefer a crisp look, use a warm iron or garment steamer.

Q: Where do you ship from?
We ship directly from our studio in Vancouver, Canada.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We currently ship within Canada, to the U.S., and select international destinations. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free shipping on orders over $100.
Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days.

- U.S.: 5–10 business days
- International: 10–20 business days

Q: Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
If you need to make changes, please email info@bompompom.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to catch it before it ships.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What’s your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of shipment date. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and with tags attached. Please email info@bompompom.com with your order number and reason for return before sending anything back.
Q: Do you offer exchanges?
We don’t offer direct exchanges at this time — simply return your item for a refund and place a new order for the color or style you prefer.
Q: Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Any customs or brokerage fees incurred on return shipments will be deducted from your refund.
Gifting & Packaging
Q: Can I include a gift message?
Yes! Add your message in the notes at checkout, and we’ll include a handwritten card.
Q: How are BomPomPom products packaged?
Each piece ships in a drawstring pouch which is placed in a mailer and shipped out.

Q: What does “BomPomPom” mean?
“Bom” means “good” in Portuguese, which perfectly sums up our love for good materials, good design, and good feelings.
Q: Why Portugal?
Portugal has a long tradition of textile craftsmanship and some of the world’s best cotton mills. Partnering with small Portuguese producers allows us to ensure quality, fair practices, and a beautiful finish on every piece.

Yes! We’re starting with our signature woven scarves and will slowly expand into other cotton essentials that bring warmth and comfort to your everyday life.
